The Wait

I feel like I’ve waited all of my life for something that never came. There is a difference to being pessimistic and wise. A pessimist thinks nothing will ever work, while a wise realist knows that even if it does work, nothing will come from it. Sounds like depression talking, but I don’t think that’s what it is. We want results when we try for something, never seeing what’s really happening. It’s not about the outcome. It’s not about the arriving, it’s about the wait. It’s about the ability to keep your good attitude while waiting. It’s about being the person you are, not the person you will be if this thing happens to you. The gift to you in life is the want, is the need and the gift of being you. Not a wealthy you or a “successful” you, but the you who strives. The you that wants, is the you that will pull you forward. Never give up on something that you really want. When nothing is certain, anything is possible.

Enjoy your day.
